About this accommodation

At the thoughtfully furnished Bijou Panorama studio, you enjoy unobstructed views of Lake Thun. It accommodates a maximum of two adults and may appear larger in the photographs than it is. The small balcony offers lake views. The fully equipped kitchen includes a hob, oven and Quooker supplying boiling water within seconds. The combined living and sleeping area has a double bed (160 × 210 cm) and a sofa. You can swivel the television towards either. The modern bathroom has a rainfall shower; bed linen, hand and bath towels, and high-quality toiletries are provided. You are staying in Leissigen, between Spiez and Interlaken.

You have exclusive access to the entire top-floor apartment. A designated outdoor parking space is available right by the building. Access is self-managed and convenient via a key safe.

The flat is situated on the top floor of a terraced apartment building on a hillside, which also houses two other holiday flats. Access is exclusively via an external staircase with no lift. Luggage must be carried up the stairs.

The neighbourhood

Leissigen is situated at 575 metres above sea level directly on the shores of Lake Thun, set at the foot of the Morgenberghorn between Spiez and Interlaken. The village borders Därligen, Saxeten, Aeschi bei Spiez, and Krattigen. During summer, the historic local lido offers direct access to the lake for swimming. The area is also renowned for picturesque sunsets, best viewed from the lakeshore or the Ferdinand Hodler memorial. The bus stop Leissigen West is roughly 150 metres away and reached within a five-minute walk. Leissigen railway station is approximately a 12-minute walk away, providing connections to Interlaken Ost in around 29 minutes by public transport. Driving distances are approximately 10 km to Interlaken and 21 km to Thun.
