Welcome to Bijou Holzmätteli in Hünibach – a stylish one-bedroom apartment on the first floor for two adults, right by the water. Wooden floors, modern furniture and plenty of daylight create a warm, welcoming feel. In the open living area, the fireplace makes for cosy evenings. From both the living room and the bedroom you step straight onto the generous balcony, with clear views of the River Aare, Lake Thun and Schadau Castle. The bedroom has a double bed (180 × 200 cm). There is also a separate workspace and a private infrared sauna in the apartment. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine. Stroll along the Aare into Thun's old town, or set off on boat trips across Lake Thun from the Hünibach pier.

You have exclusive access to the entire one-bedroom flat on the first floor, including the balcony and the private infrared sauna. A complimentary outdoor parking space is located right in front of the building. The lower part of the property is occupied by the owners and is strictly private.

The neighbourhood

The property is located right on the waterfront in Hünibach. A scenic riverside promenade of approximately two kilometres connects Thun old town with Hünibach via Aarequai and Brahmsquai, open to pedestrians and cyclists. Along Brahmsquai, you can relax on the lawn beside the Three Graces fountain or view the Brahms memorial beneath a giant sequoia tree. During summer weekends, a solar-powered passenger shuttle operates from Hünibach boat station between Schadau Park, the lido, and Hofstetten.
