About this accommodation

Stay in Switzerland’s narrowest residential house, a private design retreat across four levels. It measures around ten metres in height and just 2.2 metres in width. High-quality materials, clever spatial solutions and pared-back design shape this compact home. An infrared sauna complements the facilities. The well-equipped kitchen includes a cosy dining area, dishwasher, oven, wine fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a living room with a TV and a separate WC with a washbasin. Two bedrooms and a modern shower are on the third floor. You’re in the heart of Thun’s historic old town, a few steps from the River Aare, cafés, restaurants and shops.

You have exclusive, private access to the entire four-storey house. Thun railway station is approximately a seven-minute walk away via Mühleplatz and across the River Aare. If you arrive by car, the nearby Schlossberg car park provides convenient, sheltered access into the Old Town.

One of the two bedrooms does not have an exterior window. A modern ventilation system ensures a continuous supply of fresh air, and fans are provided during the summer.

There is no washing machine in the house. Luggage storage prior to check-in is not available.
